  • Please remember that attendance is taken on eLearning days.
  • All eLearning work is due by the end of the school day on Friday, October 16th.
  • If a student cannot login due to specific circumstances, they need to communicate with each of their teachers, early and individually, to make other arrangements.

Quarter 1 Report Cards go Home Friday, October 16th

Report cards for the first quarter will go home with students on Friday, October 16th.

Along with report cards, students will also receive a report for their spring 25-26 ILEARN scores in language arts (grades 6-8), math (grades 6-8), and science (grade 6 only).

A reminder that students are on academic probation and athletically ineligible for the second nine weeks if they receive 2 or more F's on their first nine weeks report card.

Students on academic probation are prohibitted from attending after school events and are required to attend 9th period for the second grading period.

Please reach out to Mr. Garver or Mr. Lunsford if you have any questions.

Beginning 2nd 9 Weeks - Accelerated Reader

Beginning second nine weeks, language arts teachers will begin implementing Accelerated Reader into our language arts classrooms. Students will begin by taking a STAR reading assessment. This will allow you and your student to know what their reading level is. Then, students will need to read independently and pass a short assessment at the completion of reading a book.

Our goal is that we foster a school environment with students who love to read and are stronger readers as a result. We look forward to utilizing Accelerated Reader as a tool that can make our students better and more enthusiastic readers. Please reach out to your student's language arts teacher with questions.
