Eastbrook South PTO Meeting Notes
September 23, 2026
Thank you to everyone who attended our first PTO meeting of the year! Here are the main updates and decisions from the meeting:
Treasurer’s Report
The treasurer’s report was presented, reviewed, and approved.
Fundraiser Recaps
- The Color Run welcomed 119 runners, along with many parents and siblings. Feedback: Friday evening seemed to work well for families.
- The PTO discussed possible improvements for next year, including earlier registration, easier payment options, family pricing, and a food truck.
- The Mum Sale was reviewed, including ideas to improve paper ordering, advertise earlier, and offer motivating prizes.
- The Mum Sale ice cream reward party will be held outside this Friday.
PTO-Funded Projects
The PTO approved two requests:
- Replacement scooters for the PE program
- New decor for the teacher's lounge
These are great examples of how PTO fundraising directly supports our students and staff!
Fiesta Night - October 8
The PTO approved funding for the cakes and operating the ticket table. Volunteer information will be shared soon if extra help is needed.
November and December FastPasses will be available for purchase during Fiesta Night.
Parent-Teacher Conferences - October 15
The PTO is planning a meal for staff during conferences. A volunteer and donation sign-up form will be shared if extra help is needed.
FastPass
October FastPass forms will be sent home soon. November and December FastPasses may be purchased at Fiesta Night.
