Why Attendance Matters
Attendance is a key factor in student success—especially in middle school! Being present in class helps students stay on top of assignments, build strong relationships with peers and teachers, and develop the responsibility and routine that will carry them through high school and beyond. If your student needs to be absent, please remember that a parent or guardian must call the school office by 8:30 AM to report the absence. Also, if your student sees a doctor, be sure to send in a doctor’s note—these absences are considered excused and do not count against your student’s attendance record. Let's work together to make every day count!

7th Grade Science - Mr. Brown
Mr. Brown's 7th-grade science classes have been studying the difference between the terms "Mass", "Weight", "Volume", and "Inertia."  Ryann Smith created this comic to show her understanding of the terms. She used these talking dragons and their expressions to show how the concepts relate to real life. Excellent work, Ryann!!
